Other than the ever-popular balm stains I’m not sure I’ve ever tried another lip CRAYON.. seriously? How can that be right? Nevertheless I now have this beauty from NARS and I will absolutely be looking for more in this form. I prefer this finer point than the chubby stick type pencils as it gives a more precise look.. which I suppose doesn’t matter quite so much if you’re talking gloss but with a matte, opaque finish such as this it’s necessary. It applies nicely which I was a little apprehensive about given that it is matte and all but you get the longwearing benefits of the non-creamy texture with none of the drying after effects. The only real downside here is the waste caused by sharpening, if they made this a twist up crayon it really would tick all the boxes.
This plumy colour is not entirely this season but I know I will get a lot of wear out of it come autumn, I love the berry lip season, don’t you?
